Crop image

Cropping an image means removing unwanted outer areas from a picture to focus on a specific part. You can optionally split the image into smaller images using a grid.

How to crop an image

To crop an image, first select it, then right-click on it and select Crop in the context menu.

Shift click and drag to select a region with the mouse, or type the coordinates of the top left and bottom right corners. Click and drag the red arrows outside the image to adjust.

Click OK to crop the image, replacing the original.

Select Save cropped image as a new measurement to leave the original intact, and place the cropped image in the same group as the original.

Optionally select Split and specify the number of grid cells to create inside the image. This example will create 6 new measurements, one for each yellow rectangle, in the same group as the original (leaving it intact):
